Black Crow Brewery is a fictional boutique brewery. Black Crow’s target market is adults over 25, who are interested in high-quality beer.


Black Crow Brewery’s branding concept is inspired by Edgar Allan Poe’s Gothic and macabre world, adding an element of the dark and mysterious to the beer-drinking experience.


The label design was influenced by woodcut illustrations, particularly from the artist Fritz Eichenberg. Each of the different ales is separated by colour. The stamped text and brown paper labels are used to invoke a sense of crafted quality beer as well as a sense of quality and care.
